Arabic Language Workshops and Cultural Activities

“Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these” (Luke 18:16)

Beloved in Christ, daughters and sons of St. Mary’s Church, the Grace of our Lord be with all of you;

With those words, Jesus teaches us that the Heavenly Kingdom is dedicated for such as our children because they are the good future of His Church. It is so important to keep our children attached and attracted to our church, for both our and their salvation and for many other reasons.

Furthermore, being away from our home and since we belong to an Eastern Arabic culture from a variety of countries in the Middle East,  it is our duty to emphasize the importance of using our mother tongue language in a playful and pedagogical approach. Our mission is to introduce the Modern Standard Arabic (MSA) and expose our children to our Arabic culture and heritage so they won’t forget about their roots and history.

So we invite you all to register your children in the “Arabic Language Workshops”. These Workshops should get your interest for the coming generations benefit and for the future of our church. We do not forget that the Church is the Body of Christ and “we” are the members in His Body. God bless you and your families.
